Registration Info

What started off as a Jackson Spokes tradition has grown into the Care For All Kids Celebration Ride. This is our 4th year.

In 2021, a group of Jackson Spokes Cycling Club members got together to celebrate my 57th birthday. We decided to bring donations to give to local charities and that first year, $2000 has been raised. We gave $1,000 to The American Heart Association and $1,000 to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital.

In 2022 and 2023, Jackson Spokes Cycling Club held a local ride and each time over 150 riders registered and rode to raise money for the local collaboration of Ayers’ Children Hospital – West Tennessee Healthcare - and LeBonheur Children’s Hospital – Methodist LeBonheur Health Systems. In these two years, we have raised over $30,000 collectively. The motto of the ride is “No Child should have the fear of being away for home and no parent should be away from their child.”

This year, 2024, we have incorporated local school rides to further bring attention to the great work these two health systems are doing for the children of West Tennessee. The local school systems are University School of Jackson, Trinity Christian Academy, and Jackson Christian School in Jackson TN. Milan City Schools in Milan and Crockett County Schools in Crockett County are school systems that are involved.

Jackson Spokes Cycling Club and the local school systems come together and 50% of all monies raised in that county involved is given to local charities in that county. Milan City Schools is raising money for Avery Williamson Reach Out Foundation and Crockett County is raising money for NOAH – Neighbors Offering Assistance and Hope.

Avery Williamson, a local football celebrity, has joined us to help bring attention to the needs of the children of West Tennessee. Mr. Williamson played at Milan High School and University of Kentucky. He had a successful 8-year career in the NFL playing for the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, and Pittsburg Steelers. Because of Mr. Williamson’s support of the ride, Jackson Spokes Cycling Club has decided to give to the Avery Williamson Reach Out Foundation.

The main ride is scheduled for Saturday, 4/27/2024. Registration link is on this website and also
on bikereg.com.
